Day one will be spent exploring the town of Arusha. You will be picked from your hotel room in the morning and for the next 3 to 4 hours your assigned tour guide will take you around Arusha markets, museums, the independence monument and many more other exciting things around the town. Day 2: Arusha To Tarangire National Park Safari

Tarangire National Park will be your next destination after you leave Arusha.  Best known for being a home to a large number of elephants, it is also a home to other wildlife which you will get to see when you get to the Park. It will take you three hours to get to the |National Park where you will enjoy the sights of buffalos, zebras, elephants, lions, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos and cheetahs just to mention a few.

The best time to go for a safari in Tarangire is the dry season (June to October). Because of the sparse vegetation during the dry season, many animals gather around the waterholes making it easy for them to be spotted by the tourists. This is also a peak season in the Park and you will find large crowds of tourists all eager to see the numerous wild animals in the Park.

You will be provided with meals including water all throughout your stay in Tarangire before you retire for the night in the recommended campsite that fits in your budget.

Day 3 : Tarangire To Serengeti Safari Tanzania

After breakfast in the morning, you will set off for Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is famous for the wildebeest migration which takes place every year and if you are lucky, you will witness many animals crossing to neighbouring Kenya on an almost 600 kilometres’ journey. Ngorongoro National Park is on your way to Serengeti so if possible, make a stopover and take a few photos of the animals in the Park before you continue onto Serengeti.

Serengeti is a UNESCO heritage site and the best time for those who love game viewing is in the dry season (June to October) and for those that love birding, try November to April  the green season) when the rainy season starts. Some of the animals that are found in Serengeti include giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, crocodiles (at the river while crossing), cheetahs, hippos, jackals, the bat eared fox, spotted hyenas, the black rhino, lions and buffalos. You also get to witness the calving of over 1000 animals during the green season and a large number of bird species including the migratory birds that fly into the Park. Other activities that you can enjoy while here include the hot air balloon ride, guided walks through the Park and exploring the baobab trees that are more than 1000 years old.

Meals will be provided for example breakfast, lunch and dinner and then you camp for the night in the recommended area.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park Safari

Due to the large nature of the Serengeti National Park, you will spend another day within and get to follow the wildebeest migration with your cameras. The animals during the migration create a beautiful site and your assigned tour guide will get you the best spot from where you can enjoy a full view of the migration before dinner and then resting for the evening. While in Serengeti, basic camping is recommended so that you get to feel the wild side of Tanzania.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park To Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro is another UNESCO heritage site and after breakfast and freshening up in Serengeti, this will be your next stop. Some of the activities that you can enjoy while here include game drives, a trek to the crater and a photo safari. After a long day driving through the Park, you get to enjoy the sunset, dinner and then camp for the night.

Day 6 : Ngorongoro To Lake Manyara National Park

Day 6 will see you travel to Lake Manyara National Park where you will get to enjoy the pristine wonderful pink flamingos that can be seen along the shores of Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara covers about two thirds of the Park and is known to be a home to over 400 bird species.
