Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon touchdown at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted with a heartfelt welcome by your friendly guide! From the airport, you’ll be whisked away to your hotel in either Arusha or Kilimanjaro (Moshi), where relaxation awaits. Immerse yourself in the vibrant African ambiance and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. The next day, your thrilling safari journey begins.

Day 2 : Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After early breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In some places, the vegetation is quite dense with elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. Tarangire is the best place to see these gentle giants in their natural habitat, from the adorable calves all the way up to the intimidating bulls. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet. After lunch and an extensive game drive, we will head to our accommodation. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Maramboi Tented Lodge.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we will visit Lake Manyara National Park for more safari fun. This small park, 120km from Arusha, is named after its shallow salt lake, which covers most of the area. The lake changes with the seasons and is home to many flamingos and over 500 types of birds. In the park, we might see animals like monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and maybe even lions resting in trees. The park has different landscapes, including grassy plains, forests with monkeys, and cliffs with baobab trees.

Day 4: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will travel to the highlands where people grow wheat and corn. On the way, you will pass through the rainforests in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You might see baboons, leopards, or elephants hiding in the plants. You will also see the amazing Ngorongoro Crater before heading to Serengeti National Park, which you will reach by midday.
Serengeti National Park is the biggest park in Tanzania, with different landscapes like grassy areas, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. After exploring the park and seeing animals, you will go to your accommodation for dinner and to rest overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
This day is all about exploring the Serengeti. The park is home to many animals like impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos. It is famous for the big herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests that migrate every year. Their movement depends on the rain. In November and December, they move from the northern woodlands to the grassy plains in the south. During the rainy season from April to June, they go back north.
We might also see predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions as they hunt and live in the wild. After an exciting day, we will head back to your accommodation to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 6 : Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will head out from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater. You might be able to spot the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – before embarking on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site, formed millions of years ago, is 600 meters deep and covers roughly 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. You will arrive at the crater rim before lunch. You will descend into the crater, and very quickly, you will see wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With some luck, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass.
After lunch and a full afternoon inside the crater, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7 : Mto wa Mbu to Zanzibar (Stone Town)
You will be picked up from your accommodation and taken to the airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Your first night will be in Stone Town, where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the old city. You can also choose to do extra activities like exploring Stone Town with a guide, visiting Prison Island, going on a spice tour, or touring Jozani Forest. All activities can be arranged at your hotel.

Day 8-13: Stone Town to North Coast (Nungwi)
Nungwi is a lively village in the northern part of Zanzibar, surrounded by some of the island’s best beaches. You will travel there whenever you choose, about 50 kilometers from Stone Town. It was once a quiet fishing village, but now it’s a busy and popular spot. Nungwi is one of the few places where you can see both the sunrise and sunset over the ocean. You can relax and enjoy the white sandy beaches and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
You will stay here for 6 nights.

Day 14: End of tour and Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at your hotel, taking in the last moments of your stay in Zanzibar. Depending on your departure time, you may have a chance for a short walk along the beach or a final glimpse of the island’s stunning scenery. When it’s time to leave, you will be transferred from your hotel to Zanzibar Airport in a comfortable vehicle. Sit back and relax as you journey through the island, passing by local villages and lush tropical landscapes. Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will assist you with check-in procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for your onward journey.
