A day hike on Mount Longido is a perfect off-the-beaten-path adventure located near the Kenya border, about 1.5–2 hours from Arusha.
This trek offers a peaceful alternative to crowded routes like Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. The hike takes you through forest, open hillsides, and Maasai land, with chances to see wildlife and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding plains.
It’s ideal for beginners, nature lovers, and travelers with limited time.
