This 2-day safari takes you to two of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations—Tarangire National Park and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Itinerary
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport by a professional guide from Safari & Holiday Makers. With packed lunch boxes on board, enjoy a 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.
Upon entry, begin mid-morning game drives, exploring one of Tanzania’s richest wildlife regions. Tarangire is known for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and high concentrations of wildlife After a picnic lunch, continue game viewing through the afternoon until evening. Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The crater is home to nearly 30,000 animals, including:
Black rhino (rare & endangered)
Wildebeests, zebras, buffalos
Hippos, elands, warthogs
Lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs
Occasionally, the elusive leopard
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the crater before continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving before nightfall.
