Itinerary
Depart from Arusha at 7:30 AM and drive toward Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you pass through scenic highlands. Arrive in the Serengeti in the late afternoon and begin your game drive until sunset. The Serengeti is world-famous for the Great Migration and incredible wildlife sightings including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, and many antelope species. Dinner and overnight at your tented camp.
Start the day early with a sunrise game drive to witness the spectacular colors of dawn in the Serengeti. Continue exploring the plains, kopjes, and riverbanks throughout the day with excellent opportunities to spot lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, birds, crocodiles, and possibly the Big Five. Return to camp for lunch, then proceed with an afternoon game drive before dinner.
After breakfast, depart Serengeti with lunchboxes and drive toward Ngorongoro, enjoying wildlife en route. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a maximum 5-hour game drive. The crater floor hosts an incredible density of wildlife including black rhinos, elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a crater-side site before continuing your game viewing. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha where your safari ends.
