This 4-day Tanzania safari takes you to the best wildlife parks in Northern Tanzania: Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater.
You will stay at public campsite throughout the safari for a simple and budget-friendly experience.
Itinerary
Distance: ~120 km
Driving Time: 2–3 hours
Your safari starts with pick-up in Arusha. You drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees.
Enjoy a full game drive where you may see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many birds.
In the late afternoon, you leave the park and drive to Mto wa Mbu village for dinner and overnight at a public campsite.

Distance: ~250 km
Driving Time: 6–7 hours (with game viewing)
After breakfast, you drive towards Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Enjoy beautiful views of the highlands before entering Serengeti. You will have a game drive on the way to your campsite in Central Serengeti (Seronera area).

Distance: ~150 km
Driving Time: 4–5 hours
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti. This is a good time to see predators like lions and cheetahs.
Later, you drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing along the way.
You will overnight at a public campsite on the crater rim.

Distance: ~190 km
Driving Time: 5–6 hours
Early morning, you descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
The crater is one of the best places to see the Big Five in one day. You may spot rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and hippos.
After a picnic lunch, you drive back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon.
