Tour Overview
Mount Meru is Tanzania’s second-highest mountain (4,566 m), located inside Arusha National Park. It is an alternative or perfect acclimatization climb before Mount Kilimanjaro.
The trek offers incredible scenery, including forests, wildlife, volcanic craters, and dramatic ridges. Unlike Kilimanjaro, you may see animals like giraffes, buffalo, and monkeys along the way.
This 4-day itinerary allows proper acclimatization and a higher chance of reaching the summit (Socialist Peak).
